Preview mini is optimized for iPadOS. It leverages your iPad and its transition to a real desktop-like system. The selection and editing of image parts work completely the same. Install the Preview app for iOS on your iPhone and take this essential image editing tool wherever you go.

SNIPPING MODE
Copy and paste parts of images. Resize, crop, cut, and drag your selection. Apply auto-ratio sizing. Put parts aside and reuse them later in your workflow. All packed into the familiar UI pasteboard experience of your iOS device.

ADD TEXT
Add text onto your image by simply dragging the text selection to the place you want it to be. The app also supports bold and italic attributes. Pick any text color you want by using the familiar iOS color picker. Text layers can be edited with the same workflow as offered by the snipping mode.

DRAWING MODE
Packed with the familiar iPadOS tool picker you are ready to go to add drawings and scribbles to your image. Use the inking tools, lasso, ruler, and eraser. The undo workflow is aligned with the specifics of your device. The iPhone version ships an undo button and the iPad one comes along with the native undo/redo kit.

ROTATE / MIRROR / RESIZE
The buttons for rotation, vertical and horizontal mirroring plus resizing are within the reach of one tap. Edit your images as you need them to be for perfect orientation, size and export.

FILE-HISTORY
Restore a former state of your image by setting it back to any pre-operation state.
Undo snipping, dragging, resizing, and drawing. Remove added text and un-rotate. Restore the former size and undo the cropping of your image.

BLANK TEMPLATE EDITOR
Start with a blank template and drop your image parts and drawings as you like later on. With the blank template editor you just add your pixel size, pick the preferred background color and you are ready to go to create something new.

FILE-PANEL
Get a quick overview of all imported image files by checking out the overview file panel. It makes the snipping of contents from one image to another a pleasure and keeps you on track of your overall progress. Add images, blank templates with your preferred size and background color, and tidy up files you don’t need to edit any longer.

EXPORT (IN-APP-PURCHASE)
Nearly all functionalities of Preview mini are free to use. Even the free export of your work is possible. The free version includes the possibility of a low-resolution export for some drafts or quick sharing of your progress.
