LoopMix

LoopMix is a minimalist AUv3 looper plugin for iPad, built for live performers who need to hear their own mix on stage — without a sound engineer.

Insert one instance per audio channel in AUM, assign a physical input to each, and you have a full multi-track looper with individual volume control for every source.

TRACK FADER
The vertical fader controls your track level at all times — recording, playback and standby. Use it as your mix fader directly inside the plugin, independently for each instance.

REAL-TIME RECORDING
Up to 60 seconds of loop recording per instance at 48 kHz. Mono in, stereo out. Hit Record, play your part, hit Record again — the loop starts instantly.

QUANTIZED RECORDING
Lock your loop length to the host tempo: 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars — or ∞ for free length. Recording starts on the next downbeat with a visual countdown, and stops automatically at the chosen bar length — perfect, glitch-free loops every time. Pause and resume also re-sync to the next downbeat.

GLITCH-FREE LOOP POINT
Inaudible 5 ms Hann crossfade at the loop boundary — no clicks, no dips, no length drift between cycles.

WAVEFORM DISPLAY
Live waveform strip with playhead cursor and bar position indicator. Toggle between waveform and spectrum analyser from the settings panel.

MASTER / SLAVE SYNC
Tap Master on one instance and all others automatically become Slaves. Every user command — Record, Play, Rewind, Clear — is broadcast instantly across tracks. Each slave keeps its own bar length, so a 1-bar loop can run alongside a 4-bar loop.

HOST TRANSPORT FOLLOW
Pause or restart the host transport (AUM, Cubasis, etc.) and every instance follows in lock-step — no orphaned loops left running.

MIDI FOOT PEDAL
Full hands-free control via MIDI CC. Record (CC 80), Play/Pause (CC 81), Rewind (CC 82), Clear (CC 83). Per-instance MIDI channel filter. Connect a pedal, route it in AUM, and never touch the screen mid-performance.

SPECTRUM ANALYSER + VU METER
Real-time FFT display from 80 Hz to 20 kHz. LED VU meter with LUFS momentary readout (ITU-R BS.1770 K-weighting). See and hear exactly what's in your mix.

HOST TRANSPORT DISPLAY
Live BPM, animated beat cells and time signature read directly from the host. Loop position indicator so you always know where you are inside the bar.

THREE INSTANCES, ZERO DROPOUTS
Three simultaneous LoopMix instances on a single iPad — voice, guitar, keys — without dropouts. SIMD-accelerated audio path and UI polling.

COMPACT VIEW
Resize the plugin window and the interface adapts automatically — fader and VU meter on the left, transport buttons in a column on the right.

Dark, Night, Forest, Amber, Slate. Tap the logo to switch themes on stage.
