Calera is the first solution to monitor core body temperature continuously and non-invasively. Using the same technology as CORE but being specifically designed for researchers, calera will allow real-time core body temperature monitoring and high-resolution (1 Hz) data downloading. Individually calibrated devices will make sure your measurements are of the highest accuracy.
IMPORTANT: The calera app is designed to work with the calera device, which can be ordered at https://shop.greenteg.com/core-body-temperature/caleraresearch. This app is not designed for use with the CORE sensor.
1. What does calera do?
calera helps you track the core body temperature. This is the interior temperature of the body – including organs and other tissues – which can substantially differ from the skin temperature. Core temperature changes due to physiological processes such as illness, intense activity, circadian cycles, or ovulation.
calera will allow you to continuously and non-invasively track this internal temperature with high accuracy during your research experiments.
2. Get access to your data at any time
calera stores your data locally on the device and connects to the app to display it. If you use the app to display the temperature, the data is also pushed to a secure cloud solution, where you can view it and download it for further analysis.
calera additionally comes with two unique features: the computer based Research tool and high time resolution logging mode.

3. Why is calera different from other solutions?
Before calera, only invasive methods such as rectal probes or ingestible e-pills were available for measuring the core body temperature. For the first time, calera provides an accurate, continuous, non-invasive solution for monitoring core body temperature, regardless of the activity and environment.

4. How does it work?
The calera device clips onto your heart-rate monitor belt or sports bra. It can also be worn using specially designed medical-grade patches. For best results, wear calera on the same side as your smartwatch.
calera supports ANT+ and works with most Garmin Connect IQ and Wahoo devices.
