【Why Create It?】
We found that people often encounter some problems when using mainstream to-do list products, which makes it difficult for most people to keep using them:
1. Task delays often lead to frustration. Many studies have shown that task delays are a common phenomenon. However, excessive delay reminders and negative feedback increase users' frustration. Our research indicates that task delays are a normal occurrence, not the user's fault. A user-friendly product should tolerate such delays and encourage users.
2. Complex operations result in high task maintenance costs. Mainstream products mainly feature two views: date classification and task classification. This product structure increases the editing cost of tasks. Since users' tasks need to be adjusted and updated in real time, the maintenance cost becomes extremely high, leading to a series of problems such as untimely task updates and task backlogs. A user-friendly product should face up to the problems users encounter during actual use.
3. Neglect of the value and significance of tasks. Mainstream products often overly emphasize "time" and "schedule", which may cause users to focus too much on efficiency and completion, while neglecting task selection and the judgment of task significance and value. As a result, the quality of completion may be reduced in order to catch up with the time schedule, or users may even find themselves constantly busy but with little growth and a lack of a sense of the meaning of work... A user-friendly product should inspire users to think, facilitate the evaluation of task value, and help users find a sense of meaning.
Therefore, we hope to design a simple and powerful to-do list that helps users find a sense of meaning to address the above issues!

【Based on What Concept?】
Ultimately, doing things is for self-fulfillment. Based on the theory of contradiction, Star List proposes a task management approach of prioritizing important tasks, encouraging users to focus their saturated energy on those few important and meaningful things.
There is no need to spend too much time on task classification or overly focus on task deadlines. Just clarify your thoughts, identify the important and meaningful things, and then focus on them.

【What Small Innovations Does It Bring?】
1. One-page task management method. It integrates features such as three-level task breakdown, swiping right to star, and date recognition, allowing you to manage most tasks in work and life on just one page. The advantages are: more intuitive, as the current tasks are clearly visible when opening Star List; more real-time, as it is very convenient to update tasks on one page, avoiding delays and untimely updates; no backlogs, as one page is very limited, encouraging you to make choices. For tasks that you don't have time for or no longer need, you can boldly delete them.
2. Setting dates with a space. We spent months researching and developing a date recognition algorithm and creatively integrated dates with tasks. You only need to enter a specific date format + the "space" key to set the date with one key. This is a natural interaction method and supports five date formats: single day, repeated multiple days, repeated multiple times, time reminder, and time period.
3. Linked focus timer. While clarifying tasks is good, taking action is what matters. There is a prominent focus button on the home page. Click it to select a task and enter the focus timing page. Under the sense of urgency of the countdown, focus on executing it, which also helps with focus training.

【What Other Functions Are There?】
The task editing bar is very useful. When entering tasks, it will automatically float above the keyboard. You can switch task levels with one key. When setting dates/reminders, a floating pop-up window will appear. Since the keyboard doesn't drop, it avoids interaction interruptions caused by element switching and ensures a smooth experience during task input;
In the growth module, there is a continuously rising curve that records every task you complete and every minute of focus; in today's performance, you can see the number of tasks completed today, the focus duration, and historical comparisons; in recently completed and task review, all the tasks you have completed are recorded, helping you conduct task reviews;
In the personalization module, you can choose the theme style, language, date format according to your preferences, and also decide whether to automatically clear completed tasks according to your usage habits...
