Xiaosudian is an important auxiliary tool for me to learn traditional Chinese culture and also a summary and generalization in my learning journey.
1. When I first started learning classical Chinese, I didn't know the meanings of many words, so I wrote a dictionary, and it's a dictionary with the original traditional Chinese characters. In order to proofread the Shuowen Jiezi, the Kangxi Dictionary, and to know exactly what the original looks like in ancient books, I added the影印原文 (photocopied original text).
2. I didn't recognize various characters in ancient books and couldn't input them with the input method, so I added the function of looking up characters by code, including looking up by radicals, Wubi, pinyin, stroke order, number of strokes, and Cangjie.
3. When learning traditional Chinese characters, I added the traditional-simplified conversion tool.
4. After learning the Six Categories of Chinese Characters and oracle bone inscriptions, I added oracle bone inscriptions and gave a popular and concise discussion on the Six Categories of Chinese Characters.
5. After learning the prosody of regulated verses of the Tang and Song dynasties, I added the prosody and its related Ping Shui Yun and the tool for automatically analyzing level and oblique tones and their rescue.
6. Since I wanted to read ancient books, I added an online ancient book library and also wrote a PDF reader that supports reading from right to left.
7. I really started my entry into classical Chinese from the "Lectures on the Three-Character Classic" and the "Lectures on the Thousand-Character Classic", so I added them to it. After you read them, you will surely fall in love with classical Chinese.
8. Reading books alone is not enough. You still have to really do it and apply it to learning, work, and life. The "Rules for Disciples" is the foundation of life cultivation, so I added it too. Let's learn the "Rules for Disciples" together.
9. I have also read many books that are helpful for life and put them in the "Introduction to Dharma Treasury".
