It has known issues on Android 4.4+ such as freezes on the Diagnostics screen and lack of Split DNS on 7.x/8.x. Features like Filter Support aren't supported. The Cisco Umbrella module offers DNS-layer protection for Android v6.0.1+ with or without a license.
